In the last two weekends three complaints have been made to the premises for allowing the consumption of alcohol by minors and two for possession of narcotic substances, as well as the intervention of 17 bottles of alcoholic beverages carried by the groups of minors.
On the occasion of celebrations of graduation parties, from the Department of Public Safety of the City of Lorca noted that it is intensifying the preventive work of alcohol consumption among children in the municipality.
Therefore, from the Police Unit, Tutor of the Local Police, they are contacting all the secondary education centers of the municipality to obtain information about the day, time and place where these parties are to be held.
Once this information has been gathered, this unit will contact the locals where the parties will be held and will be reminded of the prohibition on dispensing / selling alcohol to minors, as well as avoiding the consumption of alcohol by these young people in their establishments.
In addition, agents of the Local Police, during the days of celebration of graduations carries out surveillance of civilian and uniformed, to monitor and control the sale and consumption of alcohol by minors, a work that is not limited to the premises or establishments where they are celebrated the parties but also parks, gardens and nearby areas to avoid the botellón, with the result, in the last two weekends, three complaints to local for allowing the consumption of alcohol by minors and two for possession of narcotic substances, as well as the intervention of 17 bottles of alcoholic beverages that carried the groups of minors with whom it has intervened.
This next week the Police Unit Tutor will assemble the same operation with the help of other units for prevention in these youth parties.
