The mayor has reiterated his "total commitment to solve these issues that can not be extended over time, we have put all possible means, redistributing municipal technicians from other councils for the Office of the Earthquake, but we need those affected continue putting on your part and collaborate to be able to close this page of the history of our municipality once and for all. "

The mayor has shown his concern, because despite, he says, "have increased attention and resources in the Office of the Earthquake in recent weeks, 1,400 neighbors have not yet presented the justifying account."

Mateos recalled that the deadline to submit this documentation ends on July 27, "we know that these are difficult dates, but we ask that all those who still have to present some papers go to the Earthquake Office because otherwise it will be difficult to justify that money. "

He has stated that he has already asked the Ministry of Development to "consider extending the period of presentation of the justifying account since the agreement was approved in July of last year, but did not enter into force until November, and until then they could not be presented the justifying accounts because there was no model. "

Mateos has also requested that the Follow-up Commission of the agreement between the Regional Government and the City Council be officially convened to assess the justification of these files. "
