The Board of Spokesmen has agreed, at its meeting this morning, to take to the plenary next Wednesday the approval of the amendment of Law 8/2018 of July 23, of aid granted to those affected by the earthquakes of Lorca for the repair of housing, which will extend the period of presentation of the justification reports by six months.
The legal modification promoted by the Popular Party will be taken as a joint proposal of all the Parliamentary Groups to whom the spokesman of the GPP, Joaquin Segado, thanked "" their collaboration and support. "
In this way, next Wednesday, prior to the start of the first session of the investiture debate, a plenary session will be held to give the green light to the modification of the aforementioned law.
Joaquin Segado recalled that the proposal "aims to give another six months to 1,479 families to present the justifying memory of the expenses, whose deadline expired on July 27".
As of today, 50% of the beneficiaries had not yet submitted the corresponding justifications, so an extension is granted that grants a longer period to those affected to obtain the relevant documentation.
The spokesman of the PP, Joaquín Segado, has also reported the agreement of the Board of spokespersons to celebrate Wednesday and Friday of this week investiture sessions.
"If everything goes as planned, Fernando López Miras will be president of the Region of Murcia next Friday," he said.
