The mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, has indicated that one of the objectives of the new government team is to provide the best services also to the citizens of the districts of the municipality of Lorca, for this the Local Government Board has approved this Friday two actions that will be carried out during the next months, specifically, in the deputations of Purias and La Torrecilla.
The mayor of Lorca has detailed that "one of these actions will be carried out in the district of Purias, in the Altobordo Church Crossing, where new public lighting points will be installed. Some works that have already been awarded, by the minor contract modality , for an amount of 14,049 euros. The expected execution period is two months. "
On the other hand, there will also be an extension of public lighting in the Las Zahurdas area in the district of La Torrecilla.
These improvements have been awarded for an amount of 41,127 euros and the expected execution time is three weeks.
Mateos Molina recalled that "actions will continue to improve lighting services, but also others such as municipal infrastructure, social facilities, sports facilities, or increased security."
