The City of Lorca launches a battery of demolitions of expropriated homes in the neighborhood of San Cristóbal (30/07/2019)

The mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, has informed this morning of the immediate start of the necessary actions to carry out the demolition of several expropriated homes in the San Cristóbal neighborhood.

Mateos explained that "specifically, there are three buildings that are going to be demolished in this Lorca neighborhood with a total cost of action of 29,700 euros including demolition, cleaning, concreting and urbanization contemplated in the project."

The mayor has detailed that "the first of them will be in a house located in Cuevas Mena street, with an area of ​​58m2, and whose space after its demolition and the concrete concreting will be destined to widen the road. While the The second action, which includes two lots and a house on Tizón Street, will be divided into two phases: first the demolition of the house, cleaning of rubbish and adjacent debris will be carried out and then, and provisionally, the total surface of the building will be concreted. site to avoid leaks and, in the second phase, a project of stabilization of the head, the extension of the road and the management of the site destined to the green zone will be carried out ".

Mateos Molina has announced that "as for the third intervention, it is a house with a patio located on Duero Street with an area of ​​55m2 entirely, according to the General Plan, to the widening of the street. In a first phase will carry out the demolition of the house and cleaning of existing garbage in the patio and a second phase of urbanization of the plot through the construction of a retaining wall of the back street, the concreting of the plot and the subsequent paving. "
