The Mayor of Lorca raises López Miras the need for CARM to complete the projects that are still pending in the municipality (30/09/2019)

In addition, Diego José Mateos insists on creating new local financing mechanisms "since local corporations support competitions close to 7 million euros."

The mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, met today in Murcia, in the Palace of San Esteban, with the president of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras.

The mayor of Lorca has also shown López Miras the importance of Lara the municipality to carry out measures aimed at the recovery of the historic center, such as the fact of continuing to advance in the Regional Interest Plan in which the City Council works together to CARM and Ceclor.

Mateos has also raised to López Miras the need to articulate new mechanisms of local financing since he has remembered that "from the local corporations we must assume competences that suppose an expense to us near the 7 million euros, mainly by expenses caused by Social Services (dependence, telecare, various programs for people with needs), Education (Teaching grants, nursery schools, ...) Health (maintenance of Medical Offices) or Employment (Employment Promotion Program and Local Development) ".

Finally, the mayor has been willing to continue working hand in hand with the Autonomous Community "for all those priority issues that allow us to continue improving the quality of life of our neighbors."
