The Councilor for Culture of the City of Lorca, María Ángeles Mazuecos, presented this morning "Once upon a time", a music video that discusses the ability of Lorca to overcome the damage caused by the earthquakes of 2011.

Mazuecos has explained that "it is a fictional production in musical format that for 72 minutes pays tribute to the city of Lorca and its inhabitants for their ability to join in the face of the tragedy caused by the earthquakes of 2011 and fight to address them."

The Edil announced that “such emblematic places of our city as the Guerra Theater, the Church of Santiago Apostle, the Fortress of the Sun, the Guevara Palace or the Sanctuary Virgen de las Huertas have been the scene of this production that highlights the great value artistic and historical heritage of Lorca, as well as the enormous work done to recover after the significant damage caused in 2011 â€.

Mazuecos Moreno has detailed that “the musical production 'Once upon a time' has been made by the Integra Foundation, a recording framed within its Digital Heritage project, which is funded by European funds ERDF and the Directorate General for Strategy and Digital Transformation of the Ministry of Presidency and Finance of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia â€.

María Ángeles Mazuecos thanked “the work of Primitivo Pérez, director and screenwriter of 'Once Upon a Time', Pedro Contreras, his composer and music producer, as well as the main performers, young actors trained at the Superior School of Dramatic Arts of Murcia, the members of the dance corps that have had the direction of choreographer Jon Mitó and the collaboration of the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia and well-known guest artists. â€

The Councilor for Culture has encouraged “all Lorca and Lorca to enjoy a production that will be premiered on October 24 at the Teatro Guerra de Lorca, with a preview with invitation at 8 pm and, later, at 10 pm, through a pass with free access.
