The PP requires that the current local government allocate the 2.2 million it has of margin to approve a general tax cut for all Lorca's (24/10/2019)

Juan Francisco Martínez: "After many years of effort, the City Council today has more than enough resources to lower the IBI by 10%, but they prefer to put their hands back in the citizens' pocket to keep their money"

The Councilor for Economy and Finance in the City of Lorca by the Popular Party, Juan Francisco Martínez, has indicated that this year, after much time of effort and savings, the City Council has enough room to make a general tax reduction of 2 , 2 million euros.

We already said it a few days ago to mark the way for them to know the opportunity they had on the table.

Instead we have encountered a policy of pride and rejection.

PSOE and Citizens bring us tax ordinances for next year that are a "bad joke."

Martínez Carrasco said that we gave them the work done, even presenting a tax proposal for 2020 prepared by the PP as a gesture of goodwill and a spirit of collaboration.

The result is a real nonsense.

They bring us a disappointing, resigned and fraudulent proposal, which puts their hand in the Lorca's pocket instead of taking advantage of the 2.2 million euros margin that we leave to lower taxes for all citizens.

They could have transferred to the pocket of the Lorca the improvement of the municipal accounts, but they have kept the money.

They are very poor and antisocial tax ordinances.

They have lost the opportunity to make an IBI drop of 10%, they had it in their hand.

Nor should it surprise us much, since they are the same ones that raised the IBI 100% when they ruled.

The Councilor of the Popular Party has explained that the initial approach with which they have elaborated these ordinances is unfortunate, obsolete and outdated We are now coming, in the 21st century, with failed ideas, saying that they are going to "redistribute wealth", one of the great lies that socialism presents to us, since the City Council does not have to work to redistribute wealth, but to create it.

What they had to have done was to take advantage of the tax reduction margin to really help the Lorca families and the entrepreneurs who want to carry out their projects, but instead they now appear with slogans and ghosts of the eighteenth century.

Honestly, we expected tax ordinances that could be improved, but what they have brought us is nonsense.

Ordinances are a hoax of fat people.

They have tried to camouflage as an alleged "IBI drop" which is no more than a 2% bonus for direct debits, which account for approximately half of the existing ones.

On top of that they have robbed us of the 50% bonus to those affected by the earthquakes, now they come with this ridiculous "star measure", a shameful "alms", which represents at most 1 euro per month.

What a way to help families.

After hitting a stick of 7.5 million euros now they come with a hypocritical alms of 1 euros a month, and they want to sell it as something positive.

Juan Francisco Martínez has stressed that these ordinances are a punishment against Lorca, have not worked at all to articulate measures that benefit citizens and after claiming that they were going to agree on the ordinances, they come with this.

It is simply unpresentable.

They are taking Lorca for fools, with ordinances that are a tease and an insult against intelligence.

Above PSOE and Citizens have been determined to discriminate between first and second Lorca, and so they have reflected in these ordinances subsidizing ICIO only in some districts.

All the districts of the valley have been marginalized from this aid, which directly harms 24,000 citizens.
