The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar has confirmed the launch of the City Campus and the beginning of their classes for next year as planned.
The mayor Lorca has said that funding for the University campus is guaranteed both for this course as successive as has been confirmed again this morning the actual Minister of Universities, Research Enterprise and CARM, Salvador Marín.
Francisco Lorca Jódar has confirmed that university will be starting in October, and stressed that the City Campus is a serious project, strong and consolidated which have involved all stakeholders of the municipality to go ahead and will be a tangible reality in October, the month in which the first students arrive and begin classes.
To start the Campus has 60 seats in the degree of Nutrition and Dietetics and 70 for nursing.
Municipal sources have stressed that the same president of the UMU expressed "total confidence that eventually implant, was optimistic about it.
