Legal services are informed about the possibility that the City can, as majority shareholder, alter the organizational structure of the company Aguas de Lorca, with the creation of the Technical Unit Water.
The Full Council of Lorca unanimously adopted a consensual motion by all its members for which requested report to the legal services of the City Council to the effect that this opinion whether, based on the applicable legislation and legal instruments governing the current operation of the provision of public water supply service, if possible apply either the rate or price as consideration of public service to the user, and how the application of one or other criteria is determined.
The agreement includes that also by the legal services report on the possibility that the City can, as majority shareholder, alter the organizational structure of the company Aguas de Lorca, with the creation of the Technical Unit Water, for the reasons stated in IU's motion.
Urgent meeting of the Board of Directors of Aguas de Lorca
At another point on the agenda, the House unanimously approved a joint motion of all local groups, filed as an amendment to Citizens, by which it agreed to convene, through mechanisms as appropriate, urgently a meeting of the Board of Directors of the company Aguas de Lorca, in order to take appropriate decisions at the delay in obtaining reports and data requirements, including the possibilities that the legislation provides for management or other management bodies.
Once we receive all the information and documentation will transmit it to municipal services, and legal intervention for analysis and assessment of it.
It has also approved require the Board to proceed with a new detailed study of the instructions recruitment, in order to establish, if necessary, the maximum guarantee of the principles and contractual rules.
Similarly, all local groups consider it desirable that all these groups have direct participation in the actions to be taken, manifest the municipal decision to ensure the participation of the same in the Board of Directors.
Therefore urge the groups to the appointment of the representative who will join the Board of Directors of the municipal company Aguas de Lorca.
Finally, the City Council as majority owner of the company Aguas de Lorca proceed to hire the management audit to review procurement procedures, contracting or billing company.
New sanitation collector Polygon Saprelorca
In another matter the House has approved that the City continue to work in the process of hiring a new sanitation collector Polygon Saprelorca to give a solution to the problem as soon as possible, and in turn further work on the search funding required to obtain the necessary land.
