The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, delivered next Monday 7th 8th awards Narration Contest for Secondary Education "Award Angeles Pascual".
The appointment will be at 19.30 in Espin Fund.
Delivery will be a special meaning and emotion for the death of Doña Angeles Pascual just weeks ago.
The history teacher institutes and Ros Martin Ibáñez Giner, director of the Municipal Library for 30 years, and Adoptive Daughter of Lorca, will be remembered for the awards that bear his name.
The award in the category of students of 1st and 2nd of ESO has been for Alberto Martinez Garcia of Sun City College, with narration entitled "shepherd".
The second prize was awarded to the work "La Poza" by José María Martínez García, a student of Sun City College. The winner of the third prize was Celia Parra Sanchez, also of Sun City, with the story "That first book ".
Also within this category have been finalists Javier Martinez Garcia of Sun City College, with the play "Lone Star";
Carlos Miñarro Garcia of St. Francis of Assisi College, with narration "The two-headed dragon" and also a student of St. Francis of Assisi Re Maria Miñarro with the story "Love conquers all".
In the category of students of 3rd and 4th of ESO, the first prize was awarded to Rocío Sánchez del Vas, student of IES Prince of Asturias, with his work "Living to remember."
The story "Hope. Hope Serafin" Re Vicente Millán, a student at San Francisco College of Assisi has won the second prize.
The third award was for the story "I want to be like you," the student of IES San Juan Bosco Cristina Ruiz Martinez.
The finalists in this category were Marta Montiel Cano, the San Juan Bosco, with narration "Destinations" Maria Isabel Gimenez Sanchez, also of San Juan Bosco, with "They" and Mariano Cerdera Ruiz of Sun City College, with "The great journey".
In this year's competition they participated 187 students narratives of compulsory secondary education IES San Juan Bosco, Sun City College, IES Francisco Giner Ros, IES Prince of Asturias and Colegio San Francisco de Asis.
The jury of the contest, organized by the Municipal Libraries of Lorca, has been formed by the Councillor for Education and the City University of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, teachers of Secondary Education Adolfo Muñoz Levers and Encarna García Carrión, the high school student Juan Albarracín Edo and Susana Torres librarians Mora and Luisa María García Penas.
