Limusa going to lose 298,000 euros in 2007 to a profit of 784,472 in 2015, which will go to new investments and contingencies (25/04/2016)

Investment in machinery, street furniture and infrastructure improvements is around 3.5 million euros, including garbage trucks, street sweepers latest generation equipment more sustainable and efficient cleaning, cleaning carts and ergonomic tools.

The head of the Municipal Cleaning company, Limusa Alderman, Fulgencio Gil, has reported that 2015 shows a net profit of 784,472.74 euros, which will be used for investments and contingencies of the company.

Limusa, entering into details, reached in the year 2015 a profit of 784,472.74 euros, representing an increase of 129.57% over last year, and 47 times better result than last year prior to the new organization public corporation.

Fulgencio Gil explained that the municipal Limusa gives benefits for the sixth year in its profit and loss account, bringing the cumulative net profit in the cited reference period reaches 3 million.

Of the 198,000 euros of losses inherited from the previous management system in 2007, it has passed a profit of 784,472.74 euros (FY 2015), while reduced expenditure items optimizing the costs of professional services, reducing financial expenses and repair and maintenance ... but keeping the portfolio of services and even extending it: more containers, more parking spaces for residents or fewer incidents.

The result of this, following a corporate policy of reinvesting profits in all kinds of cutting-edge equipment, has renewed the entire industrial fleet thirty-one vehicle- and even increased in units, allowing expand existing services and addressing new challenges, both spaces and events, and achieving significant savings in repairs and maintenance, being economically sustainable.

In 2014, one sweeper RAVO Model 540 CD EU5, 1 vehicle Nissan Cabstar NT 400 and 1 vehicle Fiat Ducato 30 2.0 MJT van short, to mention only the last shopping.

This year the award is underway to incorporate two suction sweepers 1.5 cubic meters and two vans with equipment hydrocleaners mixed hot and cold water, necessary for the provision of street cleaning;

Councilman Limusa said that in addition to the accounting profit, has achieved a remarkable reduction in the tax burden to local government, to grow the company in self-financing, it has encouraged the local economy and managed to reduce the deferred payment 60 days in the first quarter of 2016, maintaining social improvements for their employees and encouraging them to participate in social activities, in a different working environment to that in 2007 and immediately subsequent years.
