The Mayor, Francisco Jodar, participates in the meeting of local bodies of more than 50,000 inhabitants in the Lorca are represented for the first time and from which exchanges of experiences will be made to move towards a Smart City.
The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, participates along with Councilman Information Society of the City of Lorca, Juan Francisco Martinez in the General Assembly of the Spanish Network of Smart Cities, which has ratified the agreement of its Board of Directors for Consistory Lorca integration, as approved by the full city.
From this meeting of local entities of more than 50,000 people around the country who pursue the same objective and where Lorca are represented for the first time, exchanges of experiences will be made to move towards a Smart City.
Specifically, five working groups will be launched by videoconference, in order that Lorca can know the actions of public interest in this regard are being made in other municipalities, while other cities in Spain take example of investments to exploit new technologies are underway in the city or those provided for in the Lorca Smart city Master Plan.
