The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, respectively, have received this morning a representation of the educational community of Colegio de Hita Perez, who has delivered a donation of 714 euros for those affected by earthquakes in Ecuador.
The Councillor for Education explained that this school held last Friday, May 13 solidarity race that passed in the vicinity of the school and the streets of La Viña.
Note that in the event involved a total of 420 children aged between 3 and 12 years.
In addition also they attended more than a hundred children from special school "Pilar Soubrier".
Family with the children and teachers ran, so total participation was around 650 people.
The charity race was divided into different categories and distances, according to the characteristics of enrollees.
Francisco Montiel thanked the entire educational community of the College Perez de Hita loaded this great gesture of solidarity, thanks to which we can continue helping those most are suffering the consequences of natural disasters that have damaged both Ecuador.
