A campaign of common sense that is an example of democratic maturity (31/05/2016)

The popular call for a campaign of proximity to citizens, always at street level and in all humility, also suppressing the great acts in response to the demands of citizens

The Campaign Director for General elections next June 26 by the Popular Party of Lorca, Joaquin Ruiz, by the Spokesperson Campaign popular, Francisco Garcia, have publicly proposed this morning to all political parties contesting in our municipality to the next electoral process to establish a common understanding to ensure Lorca that this campaign is developed under parameters of special respect for citizens, given the particular situation in which they fall.

Ruiz Montalvan explained that the Popular Party of Lorca want this campaign as we demand Lorca, friendly and close, avoiding any "charge" citizens with events or large stagings.

In this line we propose to delete the most of all the elements of the so-called outdoor advertising, including banners, billboards and mailings, in addition to the usual display graphics.

Alongside this, we also invite all parties to suppress the use of mobile advertising and public address.

The parties have to set an example of democratic maturity, capacity consensus and common sense.

In fact we believe that the current political and social context offers us an opportunity that we must seize to record our message of respect and closeness.

It is also a proposal that we extend the classic "rallies", which from the PP Lorca and we anticipate that we will not perform them throughout this campaign, especially by avoiding those high caliber.

Party activity will focus on holding meetings of great closeness with neighbors and social agents, parking any "excess" that can transmit to citizens any other message that does not go in the line of humility and modesty that will carry a seal our campaign ahead of elections on June 26.

The Campaign Director PP Lorca has also stated that generally make it clear that we do not deserve Lorca, in the current frame of mind, a campaign "to use", as have been developed to date.
