Eight classic, mythic or iconic, known as food trucks, vehicles will delight attendees with the elite of the regional cuisines, live music and children's area

The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, and Aldermen Festival and Trade Consistory Lorca, Augustine Llamas and Juan Miguel Bayonas, respectively, inaugurated this morning the first Gastro Truck Lorca, which will be held this weekend at the Mall the Constitution, following the examples of success that has been achieved in other localities.

The schedule of realization of this activity will be from 13:00 to 18:00 and 20:00 to 00:00 hours.

In this event, the result of public-private initiative in the hands of Hostelor and the Department of Celebration, Lorca and visitors can enjoy in this central setting of eight classic, mythic or iconic, known vehicles like food trucks, with the elite of the cherished regional cuisines, live music and children's area, with which we intend to attract visitors from nearby towns and boost the social, economic and festive activity of town.

With the collaboration of Estrella de Levante, 'GastroTruck Lorca' is a different way of living and enjoy the finest cuisine, offering a new format in our region that takes buses, trucks, vans, ambulances, police cars or classic taxis, converted simultaneously both tourist attractions and useful spaces for the kitchen, providing a bonus that the visit to a restaurant can not reach.

And, we will have vehicles / restaurants first level of regional or national cuisine, many of them original of the municipality, with which enliven the gastronomic aspect of the event.

From 'GastroTruck Lorca' proposed different visitors daily concerts, permanent background music, play areas and, especially, food, creating together whose main objective facilitate planning by potential participants from other municipalities or regions.
