The Municipal Emergency Service attended 70 incidents during the month of July on the beaches of Lorca coast (01/08/2016)

Emergency Councilman City of Lorca, Juan Miguel Bayonas Lopez, this morning took stock of the actions made by the Municipal Emergency Service in Lorca beaches during July.

This integrated device emergency care provides an immediate, effective and coordinated response to any emergency situation in the coastal strip running from the beach Parazuelos, on the edge of Mazarrón, to the beach of Galera with the municipality of Eagles.

For these reasons have been deployed human and material resources necessary to enable start monitoring services, rescue and salvage daily from 11:00 hours to 20:00 hours uninterrupted.

Juan Miguel explained that the Municipal Emergency Service along with Civil Protection has treated a total of 70 incidents on the beaches Calnegre tips from 18 June to 31 July, which meant an increase of 30% over the same period of 2015 regarding incidents are concerned, they have increased markedly since people visiting the beaches of Lorca coast.

Notably, the number of rescues has declined over the previous year thanks to the good response from bathers.

We hope to continue on the line in August last year and users who come to our beaches continue to pay attention the instructions of the lifeguards.

The Edil Emergency noted that these interventions have been motivated by twenty bites marine animals, of which eighteen have been jellyfish, three weeverfish, two hedgehogs and by anemone, also a person were attended by the bite insect.
