93 people participate in two activities organized by the Chess Club in the Games Guadalentín (24/09/2016)

In each edition of the Sports Games Guadalentín chess it becomes one of the highlights.

True to his appointment with the Olympics Lorca, this weekend we could enjoy a full chess agenda that has spanned different municipalities, thanks to the initiative of the Chess Club Lorca.

A total of 93 people joined this weekend chess.

The Plaza de Colón hosted during the Friday afternoon the traditional simultaneous departure.

Through this activity, any fan could face a whole as International Grandmaster Alfredo Giaccio, who was fighting at the same time against dozens of participants.

Up to 20 people had the opportunity to compete against Giaccio, including youth Chess Club, fans and curious, during the two hours of holding the test, coming to meet 11 players to compete simultaneously against the Grand Master.

On Saturday took place the second activity of the weekend: the classic rapid chess tournament held once again at the Park Mall Almenara, sponsor of the event, but this time on the top floor which offered more space and tranquility Players.

The competition, held between 10 and 13.30 hours, was developed by the Swiss system with 6 rounds, with departures every half hour.

73 participated players from all chess clubs Murcia and surrounding provinces, highlighting the presence of 10 players in category "backpack", the intended for children under 8 years.

The day ended with the presentation of medals to the winners.
