The cycle, organized in collaboration with the City of Lorca, includes four representations divided between today and tomorrow, with two daily functions, at 9.30 and 11 am.

The Councilor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Agustín Llamas, and the office director of CaixaBank in Lorca, Manuel Soriano, presented this morning the school show "Los Moussakis. Music of the Balkans" to be held for two days at the Theater War.

Llamas has emphasized that "The Moussakis is a group created in May of 2003 by musicians from different Balkan countries and Israel. Their music is characterized by the melting of Balkan melodies of the Southeast of Europe of different times and traditions of countries like Turkey, Greece, Macedonia or Serbia and Montenegro, with current harmonies and rhythms, among which we find jazz or funk. Its proposal offers vital music, cheerful color and soft texture that captivates the most diverse audiences.

The Edil de Cultura added that "the creator and founder of this musical project is Branislav Grbic, a violinist born in Belgrade, who has lived in Spain since 1991. With extensive experience in chamber ensembles and symphonic and philharmonic orchestras, his career Includes performances by such personalities as Goran Bregovic, accompanied by Tal Ben Ari, an Israeli singer, Catalan musician Pepe Morales, Ivan Ilic, guitarist, Goran Slavic, bass player, and Marko Jelaca, drums and percussionist.
