The mayor announces that the floor of the conventions "trap" ceases to be buildable and recovers its initial classification (30/01/2017)

The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, has informed that the City Council will proceed immediately to return the initial qualification to the land integrated in the urban agreements that are under the designation Soil Improper Urban Development (SIDU).

The First Edil explained that these are known as "trap agreements", those that were approved alone by a previous administration, and that allowed their promoters to secure their investment.

It was a clause that allowed the promoters to recover the money advanced to the Consistory in case they did not complete the corresponding processing.

It should be noted that this process was stopped by the promoters as soon as the first signs of the economic crisis were revealed.

In this way they played the lottery with the reinstatement secured, with the tragic reality that those who are paying for this disaster are all Lorca.

Francisco Jódar has

The Mayor has pointed out that to date the sentences derived from the "trappa" urban agreements condemn Lorca to repay 6,350,894.80 euros, of which 2,734,718.27 have already been paid, remaining unpaid Amount of 3,616,176.53 euros.

It is necessary to underline the fact that the City has managed to retain for Lorca the amount of 570,482.47 euros from the judicial processes by the urban conventions "trappa", after maintaining intense negotiations with promoters of 3 agreements already sentenced.

The City Council overcomes the "battle" of urban planning agreements.

The Mayor emphasized that, contrary to what is happening with the SIDU urban agreements, the Consistory is obtaining the support of the courts with favorable judgments in agreements included in the planning contemplated by the General Municipal Plan of Ordination (PGMO).

These agreements are planned in La Paca (3 million), Zarcilla de Ramos (193,000 euros) and 2 in Purias (1.8 and 1.4 million respectively).

The reason given by Justice is a clear respite for all Lorca, since the municipal coffers would have suffered much more if they had had to return these 6.4 million euros.
