The Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, Belén Pérez, held this morning a meeting with the Consul General of Ecuador in Murcia, Gustavo Mateus, with the aim of coordinating the device for the presidential elections that Ecuador celebrates next Sunday 19 Of February.

Pérez explained that "in Lorca there are almost 2,800 Ecuadorian voters who will be able to vote in the elections with which they will elect president for the period 2017-2021. Voters will be able to exercise their democratic right between 7 and 17 hours in the tables authorized in the Dependencies of the Hotel Jardines de Lorca, located in the mall Rafael Méndez ".
La Edil said that "from the Municipality of Lorca and, especially, from the Local Police, we will collaborate to ensure that the day is celebrated with total normality. Thus, and after coordinating with the Consulate of Murcia, municipal officials will assist and Participation to attend any possible incidence that could occur, just as they will carry out a preventive work. "
Finally, Pérez said that "this is a new sample of the great collaboration between the Consistory of Lorca and the Consulate of Ecuador whose objective is to improve the quality of life of Ecuadorian citizens residing in our municipality and promote integration ".
