The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has made a balance of the set of initiatives that the Municipal Socialist Group will raise to the ordinary municipal plenary of February, and to be held next Monday, starting at 10:00 Hours in the consistory.

In the plenary of February, the PSOE will claim improvements in the service of Murcia-Lorca-Águilas.

In particular, the socialists will bring to plenary the discomfort of the users of this transport service who for years have endured the "almost third world" conditions of the commuter line connecting the municipality of Lorca with Murcia and Aguilas.

Therefore, the Socialist Group hopes to get the agreement of all political parties to urge the regional government and the State, to establish a program scheduled for action that brings with it the improvement and enhancement of this line, since the renovation and expansion of its infrastructure , To the replacement of convoys by less polluting and accessible ones, or the restructuring of schedules and frequencies.

With another of his motions, the PSOE will take Pleno the voice of the neighbors of Calle Pintor Salvador Zamora and the residential Huerto de la Rueda, respectively, so that the construction of the Auditorium and Congress Hall of Lorca, on the one hand, and Of the new logistics center of Limusa, on the other, are compatible with the urban environment and the welfare of citizens.

For the specific case of neighbors injured by the construction of the new logistics center of Limusa near the residential Huerto de la Rueda, the PSOE will demand in plenary that the City of Lorca urge the Management of LIMUSA to, together with the municipal services Of Urbanism, look for an alternative location to the one foreseen for the installation of the Logistic Center, in such a way that it is placed in a suitable environment and as far as possible from the residential floor.

On the other hand, for the case of residents affected by the construction of one of the sides of the new pavilion of Santa Quiteria fairs, which will involve a concrete wall of more than 13 meters just in front of their homes, PSOE will claim the PP To address this neighborhood complaint and not remain insensitive to this problem that the residents of the area are facing.

The Socialist Group will mediate in the Plenary to try that the PP meets with the neighbors and can study the possibility of modifying the aforementioned project, previous appropriate legal procedures, in order to minimize the damages to the neighbors there residents.
