The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos recalled the initiatives that his group will present at the next plenary session to be held Monday, March 27, in the consistory of Lorca.

Among other initiatives, they will again insist on the elimination of the personal interview in the access tests.

They will ask that all the processes of access be governed under parameters of transparency.

They will demand that the draw for the election of the subjects be always public, with the participants as witnesses, and always just before the test.

Also, there should be an agenda for each event and that for each call, a prior period of communication and publicity through the media will be guaranteed.

Socialists hope that "if the PP has nothing to hide" support and encourage these measures.

They demand a protocol of action to force the government team to finish the works in previous quarters municipal technical reports

Recently, the Contentious-Administrative Court has revealed that the PP terminated the works of La Viña without passing a municipal technical inspection.

Therefore, in order to force the government team to have the criterion to terminate the works be the municipal technicians, and never again based on political interests, the PSOE will require the implementation of a protocol of obligatory action, establishing As a requirement the participation of the municipal technicians in the supervision of the projects, as well as for the subsequent verification of the works executed in relation to the initial project.

They propose a Plan of action for the recovery and enhancement of the rich archaeological wealth of Lorca as a tourist attraction

They will ask that the City Council of Lorca, in collaboration with Administrations and public and private entities, develop and execute a plan of action to recover and put into value the numerous archaeological sites of the municipality, as well as the results of excavations to date, such as Element that stimulates the economic and tourist activity of the municipality.

Through the questions they will formulate in the Plenary, the PSOE will demand a definitive answer on the restoration of the mural paintings of the Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Huertas.

In particular, they will ask if this action is foreseen within the Master Plan.

They will also ask if the PP contemplates the restoration and consolidation of the monolith dedicated to Bartolomé Franco Navarro "Ame" and the Fire Department of Lorca, within the planned actions in the construction of the new park of Firemen.

Finally, they will dedicate two of their questions to matters on aesthetics and health in the city.

Specifically, they will demand explanations on a matter already denounced publicly by the PSOE.

This is the situation of abandonment of the former headquarters of ASPROSOCU, in the neighborhood of San Pedro, for years has become a nest of garbage and filth.

On the other hand, they will ask about the degree of compliance with the municipal ordinance that prohibits the placement of clothes stalls and other unsightly elements on facades that give an image to the streets of the city.
