The PSOE again demands the PP to make available to Sanidad the land needed for the construction of the new center of San Cristobal (19/04/2017)

Diego José Mateos warns of the danger of losing the regional funding planned to build the new health center in San Cristóbal because of the lack of government team of the PP, unable to make the necessary land available to Health, although the unfolding of the area Of Lorca-San Diego in a new center is planned since 2005

The PSOE Spokesman in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has once again called for the "coherence and responsibility" of the government team of the Popular Party so that, once and for all, make land available to health Necessary for the construction of the new health center Lorca-San Cristóbal.

Mateos says that Jódar and his government team have had "more than enough" time to search for the most appropriate site to house this new infrastructure.

In this sense, remember that three months ago, "to help the government team and have no excuse," the PSOE sent to the government team five possible sites, spread across different areas of the San Cristóbal neighborhood.

Specifically, as possible sites, they proposed the axis of San Fernando Street and the Puente de los Carros along the river bed (a very degraded area after an urban unresolved industrial past) in the heart of San Cristóbal, or the eastern zone Around the University Campus and the Ramblilla de Tejares to serve also the neighborhoods of Los Angeles and Apolonia.

In spite of everything, and having been almost a year since the Regional Assembly itself unanimously approved to urge the Ministry of Health for the construction of this new Health Center "necessary to alleviate the saturation of the Lorca-San Diego Health Center" , The government team still does not provide the Ministry with the necessary land.

Faced with this municipal neglect, Mateos assures that his group will not remain "crossed arms" in the face of "obvious danger", he insists, that Health withdraw funding initially planned.

In fact, he adds that "as long as Jódar continues to move tab in Lorca", the Regional Government will be "delighted" not to have to allocate such funding.

He assures that the PP can not lose "nor one more minute" without taking a step to offer to Sanidad the most appropriate terrain for the construction of this infrastructure "priority for the Neighborhood and for Lorca".

Therefore, Mateos encourages Jódar to heed their recommendations, heed the proposals offered by the Socialist Party and do not lead to missed funding.
