The second PSOE deputy spokesman, Isidro Abellán has once again expressed his concern about the "repeated breaches" of deadlines and dates for the opening of the Market of the Sun. Abellán denounces that nobody in the PP, starting with the Mayor and his Councilman of Commerce is able to "set a definitive date" for the opening of the Market of the Sun. Abellán insists on his logical concern, faithful to the support that the PSOE "has maintained and maintains" with the implementation of this project that qualify as "significant and convenient for the revitalization of our historic center."
Hence, remember that already last year, and after the first breaches of deadlines, they asked the PP to be the City of Lorca who would guard the public part of this investment.
However, the government team "flatly rejected" this proposal, delving into the doubts that the PSOE continues to have.
Doubts that have been increased by "continuous breaches of deadlines" and "dance figures" around the cost of the project.
Abellán says he does not know "what data to believe", since in the last years six different dates have been announced for its opening.
There is also no consensus on the percentage of market positions already covered (whereas a year ago it was ensured that 80% of the posts were already allocated, in the last months 60-65% were spoken), nor in (Sources place the financing in the 900,000 euros, while others speak of up to 1,500,000 euros).

The PSOE demands to the PP explanations to return without using almost 20,000 euros in aid destined to the revitalization of the commerce of Lorca
After denouncing the "worrying situation" of the project of the Market of the Sun, Abellán has assured that the "height of the incompetence" of the PP in matter of commerce arrives once known that the City council of Lorca has had to return almost 20,000 euros (19,932, 13.- €) of public money for non-execution of projects aimed at the revival of trade in Lorca.
Abellán regrets that in a city where the trade continues without raising the flight there is a team of government of the Popular Party "looking at the moon of Valencia".
