It is a meeting that has been developing monthly since 2013 and which puts on the table activities that the city will take in order to maximize its synergies, improve proposals and avoid the coincidence of activities in the same Date for the dynamization of the city to be extended for more weekends per year
The Councilor for Tourism, Francisco Montiel, accompanied by the Councilors of Culture and Youth, Commerce, Sports and Economy of the City of Lorca, Agustín Llamas, María del Carmen Ruiz, Juan Miguel Bayonne and Juan Francisco Martinez, respectively, chaired this morning the Multisectoral meeting of coordination of social events and events that will be developed during the next months in Lorca.
It is a meeting that has been developing since December 2013 with monthly frequency.
We are talking about a work meeting in which the different agents of the business, tourism and commercial sectors of the municipality are actively involved with the various councils that promote the commercial, cultural, sports, equality, youth or tourism activities of Lorca.
In particular, Hostelor, Chamber of Commerce, Ceclor, Union of Merchants, Lorca Workshop of Time and the Tourist Department, Culture, Commerce, Youth, Economy, Revitalization of Historical Center and Sports form part of this work group.
The purpose of these meetings is to serve as a framework to coordinate internal and joint activities of all kinds in order to maximize their performance and use by both Lorca and the tourists and visitors.
Thanks to this initiative the proposals are improved and the coincidence of activities on the same date is avoided so that the dynamization of the city is extended during more weekends a year.
The commitment of the different participants is manifested through the active attendance to the monthly meetings, the provision of information for the elaboration of work schedules and the support in the dissemination of the programmed activities.

It is an experience that allows to take advantage of the synergies of the different groups and offer an agenda of activities fully coordinates that allows to maintain a constant dynamization of the municipality.
In addition the initiatives are analyzed a posteriori with the aim of improving them in successive editions.
It should be noted that the topics discussed this morning have been the evaluation of the Museum Night, forecasts for the summer, a report of each Department or body represented and an interesting collaboration between a Lorca trade and the Department of Tourism to be put in March in the coming days facing the summer.
