The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has demanded the new Councilor of Sports that, unlike what his predecessor did not know how to do, be clear that in matters of sports facilities "not only exists the Complex Deportivo Europa ", so as a duty for the new head of sports, requires him to focus on solving the neglect and lack of maintenance accused sports facilities in neighborhoods and districts for years.
Mateos has once again denounced the painful image that "many years of sporting facilities" have offered in neighborhoods such as La Viña or in pedanias such as La Paca, Morata, Coy, La Parroquia or the Councilor.
As already done last April 2016, the Socialist responsible again claims the need for the City of Lorca to undertake a comprehensive maintenance and improvement plan that will stop the deterioration of these facilities and encourage the completion of the same "to give The opportunity to the neighbors of districts that they can enjoy this public service in the same conditions that those who reside in the center of the city ".
In the case of La Viña, Mateos has emphasized the need to remodel the firm of the sports court located in the park of the neighborhood, as well as to fix and reinforce the perimeter protection networks of this and of the one located in the surroundings Of the boulevard of the Misses "to avoid that the balls go towards the road and to solve the present risk of accidents".
As for the facilities of La Paca, Mateos denounces the bad condition of the firm as well as the perimeter fencing and goal posts.
