This is due to the sharp decline in the agricultural sector, with a reduction of 898 people, which is a decrease of 9.88% over the previous month.
All this happens the same month in which 13,514 contracts were made in Lorca and of them 9,783 in agriculture, and contracts made 98.24 are temporary and only 1.76 indefinite contracts.
The vast majority of the contracts are made through ETTs.
This same month, the unemployment in Lorca decreased in 21 people, thanks mainly to the sector of the services, but it increased in 146 people in the agricultural sector.
All this indicates a very high precariousness in the labor market in Lorca and very dependent on the agricultural and services sectors and also on the contracting that the ETTs carry out.
From CCOO, we urge a meeting of the Local Bureau for Employment, to analyze these data and propose the measures to be taken, which would imply greater stability in employment.
