Lorca consolidates its academic profile with the celebration of 3 courses of the University of the Sea on Early Attention, Physical Activity and Environmental Tendencies of Recovery (04/07/2017)

The Councilors of Culture, Social Services and Sports in the City of Lorca, Agustín Llamas, María del Carmen Ruiz and Juan Miguel Bayonas, together with the Director of the International University of the Sea, Raquel Sánchez, participated this morning in the presentation of the Offer courses to be developed within the framework of the Universidad del Mar.

The first of them will be developed under the title "Early Care: an intervention based on evidence", by the University of Murcia (UMU).

It is one of the seminars more rooted in this program, which will have as a venue the Hall of Actos of the University Campus of Lorca, and its registration deadline is open until next July 15.

The objectives set by the organizers are to inform the characteristics of the children with alterations in their development or risk of suffering them, as well as to know how they influence the alterations in the integral development, in their family, social and educational environment, besides learning Methods of evaluation and intervention modalities from early care, to understand the importance of coordination between the different institutions that care for the child with alterations in their development or risk of suffering them and their family, in addition to enhancing prevention in early care.

We are talking about a course that has a total duration of 25 hours, and is mainly intended for University Graduates in Psychology, Psychopedagogy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Medicine, Pedagogy, being also open to students of such degrees and persons Generally interested, up to a maximum of 80 participants.

It should be noted that this is a seminar led by Doctors Julio Pérez and Francisco Javier Fernández, with the collaboration of María Isabel Casbas and Laura Murcia.

The objectives of the course, whose registration remains open until October 2 and up to a maximum of 150 students, are to create a forum for debate and reflection on Physical Education at present, to address educational approaches related to Physical Education in the stage Of Primary and Secondary, to know the new methodological proposals in Physical Education, as well as to know the use of the new technological tools adapted to the Physical Education and to discover practical strategies of promotion of the Physical Activity and the Health in Physical Education.

This activity, directed by doctors Antonio García de Alcaraz and Enrique Ortega, is addressed to Physical Education teachers of Primary, Secondary and University.

Also to Graduates and students in Education Sciences, Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, and related studies such as Pedagogy, Social Education, Psychology, etc.

The offer that our city makes available to the university scientific collective launches this summer a new course called "Contaminated Soils: New Environmental Tendencies of Recovery".

This seminar will take place on July 11, 12, 13 and 14 in the Hall of the Local Development Center under the direction of Angel Faz Cano and Melisa Gómez Garrido, has the backing of the City of Lorca, The Vice-Rectorate of Students, University Extension and Sports of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, the International University of the Sea, the Ministry of Education and Universities, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment, some of them as promoters of the LIFE + project. Thanks to the fact that this course is part of the activities of the European Project "LIFE + Rehabilitation of a heavy metal riverbed contaminated by phytoextraction technique" of recovery of sites potentially contaminated by metals and metalloids through anthropic activities, it will have the opportunity to offer a practical vision of The presentations made.

This initiative is the only specialized course that offers a complete theoretical and practical training on this subject.

The course will have a total duration of 30 hours and is intended mainly for students, graduates and university graduates in any branch of knowledge, and all interested in the subject studied.

The number of places offered amounts to 50 and it is recommended not to take too long to formalize the registration.

On July 11, a presentation and brief introduction to the usual problems and an exposition of the most relevant technical, normative and legal aspects, as well as of the most suitable phytotechnologies for the rehabilitation of floors will be carried out.
