The implementation of the ISO 22000 system confirms that Lorca has a model that meets the most demanding requirements related to food safety, in addition to controlling the entire food supply chain, gaining consumer confidence and boosting international recognition.
The Councilman of Aguas de Lorca has anticipated that the Local Executive will continue to bet on the culture of excellence and quality based on continuous improvement, both in the operational part, as in the incorporation of new technologies and methodologies applied, Which ensure improvements in production processes and water safety distributed throughout the population.
Martínez Carrasco has stressed that the achievement of ISO 22,000 means the ratification of the City Council we are applying the greatest rigor to ensure the total safety of water, applying food quality parameters of the product.

The Edil de Aguas de Lorca has reported that, in this way, Lorca joins the small group of Suez Companies in Spain with the certification of the process of Supplying Drinking Water to the population under ISO 22000: 2005.
Specifically, its scope includes the management of the supply of drinking water in catchment, purchase, storage, treatment and distribution of the municipal network of the Lorca term.
