Juan Miguel Bayonas has explained that the facilities of the pool of La Parroquia consist of two swimming pools, with the largest being approximately 20 x 11 m and the small one measuring 3 x 5 m.
There is also a main building in which there are different dependencies such as changing rooms, store, medicine chest, multipurpose room, etc.
It should be remembered that the pool was in disuse as a result of the damages caused by the earthquakes of 2011. The Councilor for Sports has detailed that the works executed have achieved the repair of what has been described above.
Specifically, a specialized company was commissioned to locate existing leaks, as well as perform a soil analysis in the pool settlement area to verify its stability.
In addition, the swimming pools have been leveled and all areas around the swimming pools (beaches) have been erected and a non-slip ceramic floor has been placed with the correct slopes.
Bayonas López has stated that the ceramic cladding of the swimming pools has also been rejunched and cleaned to ensure its sealing, by sealing the existing cracks in the textured concrete hearth to prevent further deterioration.
The whole plumbing installation and purification of the pool have been checked, replacing the deteriorated parts and ensuring the correct functioning of the installation.
