The Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, Belén Pérez, together with the Manager of Carrefour Águilas, José Manuel Prado, and the works chief of Ferconsa, Pedro Manuel Suarez, announced this morning that the Local Government Board has approved the Signing of an agreement of collaboration with these mercantiles in matters of road safety and education.
Belén Pérez explained that "the Local Police Administrative Security Unit has carried out a new project on road education consisting of the creation of the Road Education Park, which is located in the Integral Center for Emergencies and Security of Lorca and Which will be inaugurated soon. "
The Councilor for Citizen Security added that "this road education track will be aimed at improving and developing campaigns aimed at different social groups throughout the municipality, it will have a continuing purpose and permanent in time for the purposes indicated, Aimed at the different groups of the social fabric of lorca, educational centers, associations of neighbors and social non-profit organizations, among other things, it is worth noting that this project is expected to involve some 2,000 people and / or students every year. "
Pérez has indicated that "knowing the above, the Centros Comerciales Carrefour SA and Ferconsa companies have expressed their willingness to establish a framework of collaboration in matters of road safety and education, and in particular in the actions and activities that can be carried out in the Park Of CEIS Road Education ".
The Edil de Seguridad Ciudadana has informed that "the collaboration of both mercantiles will consist of the donation of material related to both practical classes and theory of road education, as well as karts, traffic signs, traffic lights, petos and children's cards of Local Police of Lorca ".
It should be remembered that the work of the Local Police in terms of Road Safety dates back almost at the beginning of its existence, being an indispensable and necessary tool to avoid future conduct on citizens that are not convenient to maintain social harmony, and on All, to safeguard the guarantees of the users of the public roads of our municipality.
