The works of urban renewal cause the cut to the traffic and the establishment of special norms of circulation for the traffic of vehicles in these streets.
Local Police will monitor road signs for the correct traffic of vehicles
The Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, Belén Pérez, announced several changes in the traffic flow that will occur on 6 and 7 September due to the asphalting of various streets within the urban renewal project of Avenida Juan Carlos I and adjacent.
On the one hand, a single traffic lane will be established for road traffic for access to the Bus Station and exit;
the rest of vehicles destined to garages, loading and unloading, etc., will be prohibited the access, except the passage of emergency vehicles.
On the other hand, access to Menchirón's public car parks will be entered by Ă“valo, Avenida Juan Carlos in the direction of Murcia and Alameda Menchirón;
the mandatory exit will be made by Avenida Juan Carlos in the direction of Murcia.
The Councilor of Public Safety advises caution to pedestrians to avoid any kind of accident.
In this sense, the Local Police will monitor and indicate to the company responsible for the works the relevant signage for the good development of traffic safety in our city, in addition to indicating the alternative routes of traffic of vehicles.
