Mateos shows his support to the almost 200 workers and their families who today have initiated the strike in the lorquino slaughterhouse, and hopes that in the next hours reigns the responsibility and the understanding between the parts, for the benefit of the meat industry of the municipality and in defense of the rights of all its employees
The Secretary General of the PSOE in Lorca, Diego José Mateos has called for dialogue and understanding between the parties that manages to end the strike that Monday started almost 200 workers of the complex La Comarca in Lorca.
Mateos hopes that very soon the necessary agreement will be reached respecting the legitimate claims of workers and their rights, as well as the well-being of their families, and of course, that will have the stability and benefit of the whole meat industry in the municipality "of which live thousands of people and whose prestige is recognized all over the world.
Mateos has been convinced that in the next few hours the climate of understanding will triumph, such as that for decades has made this company, along with its workers, consolidate as one of the main sources of wealth and employment for the municipality.
