In the ordinary plenary of July, the municipal group Citizens made a plea concerning the numerous abandoned lots filled with weeds, dirt, debris, loose animals ... within the urban area of ​​Lorca, urging the City Council to clean and adapt these spaces if they are their property and urge the owners of the individuals to stop being the focus of infections, dirt, dumps and animal shelter.
"The neighbors of San Pedro, La Virgen street or Zapatería street, or Barrio, whose homes are adjacent to these lots show their concern about the deterioration and insalubrity they present.The majority come from demolished houses that have not been rebuilt later and are becoming improvised heaps, "says the Councilman.
Well, echoing this problem, the Mayor makes public on one side the obligation of the owners to clean these lands keeping them safe and healthy.
Mecca thanks "the promptness of the appeal to citizens to avoid situations of danger to people and goods, minimizing risks of fires and pests."
