Diego José Mateos, re-elected by acclamation Secretary General of the PSOE de Lorca (11/11/2017)

The Socialists are betting on a new executive commission with which to continue adding the talent and capacity of their militancy.

Veteranía and youth to continue making the PSOE a "useful, close and winner" to recover the Mayor of Lorca in 2019

Diego José Mateos Molina has been re-elected by acclamation General Secretary of the PSOE de Lorca.

The new municipal executive commission gets the unanimous support of the Socialist Group, in a General Assembly in which the socialist militants have approved the management carried out by the outgoing executive during the last two and a half years, also led by Mateos Molina.

The new Municipal Executive Commission, headed by Diego José Mateos, will have the presence of Isabel Casalduero, as Deputy Secretary General and José Luis Ruiz Guillén, as Secretary of Organization.

They will develop four large areas of work, coordinated by María Ángeles Mazuecos (Social Welfare);

José Ángel Ponce (Communication);

Marisol Sánchez (Territorial and Municipal Policy), and Isidro Abellán (Economy, Employment and Commerce).

Within the Secretariat of Organization, will be at the head of the Secretariat of Administration, Francisco Fernández Pérez;

Secretariat of Electoral Action and Mobilization, Francisco Martínez Simitiel;

Secretariat of Training, Social Networks and Attention to the Militant, Juan Antonio Hurtado, and Secretary of Studies and Programs, Juan Manuel Abad Manteca.

In the area of ​​communication, will be Pedro García, as Secretary of New Technologies.

The Social Welfare area will be integrated by Andrea Periago, as Secretary of Equality and Social Services;

Antonia Pérez Segura, as Secretary of Education;

María Ponce Sánchez, Ministry of Health;

María Antonia García Jiménez, as Secretary of Culture, Heritage and Tourism, Tamara Soto García, as Secretary of Social Movements and ONG'S;

Gregoria López, Secretary of the Major;

Manuel Moreno, as Secretary of Sports, and José Tomás Mateo as Secretary of Immigration.

The area of ​​Municipal and Territorial Policy will be integrated by José Manuel Lorca, Secretary of Neighborhoods, and Zari Sánchez, Secretary of Pedanías.

In this area he will work with assigned members Silvia Carrillo, Antonia Navarro, José Miguel Casanova, Lina Mena and Gregorio Fernández.

The area of ​​Economy, Employment and Commerce will be formed by Ignacio Domingo, Secretary of Development and Infrastructure;

Julián Herencia, Secretary of Water and Environment, and Antonio Reinaldos, Secretary of Agriculture and Livestock.

The local executive committee will be presided over by Juan Miñarro Lario, and will be present Concepción Sánchez, of UGT, and José Manuel Segura, of Juventudes Socialistas, as ex officio members.

The Assembly also approved the Lorca delegation to the Regional Committee of the PSRM-PSOE.

The list will be headed by José Luis Ruiz Guillén, along with Isabel Casalduero, Francisco M. Fernández Perez, María Ángeles Mazuecos, Francisco Fernández Lidón, Andrea Periago López, Manuel Moreno García, Antonia Pérez Segura;

Juan Manuel Abad Manteca, and Gregoria López.

Mateos has shown his gratitude for the confidence that the militancy has placed in him and his team.

It is proposed to continue leading a project in which all the militants have space, and open to all Lorca's ideals and progressive convictions.

Ensures that the Lorca socialists have the opportunity and at the same time the obligation to continue making the PSOE a "stronger, closer and more useful" to consolidate the party as the alternative capable of throwing the Popular Party of the City of Lorca and recover the Mayor's Office in 2019.

It aspires to continue working to build a party project with vocation of government, taking advantage of the veteran socialist militancy, continue to incorporate younger people and adding all the capacity and talent they have.

Betting to expand the formation of militancy, and continue to increase the channels of communication and participation of a 21st century party, which ensures "recognizes new ways of understanding and relating to society."

Diego José Mateos Molina (Lorca, 1975) has a Diploma in Management and Public Administration from the University of Murcia and a degree in Political Science and Administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid.

At present, he combines his work as Councilman-Spokesman of the PSOE in the Hon.

City Council of Lorca with his work as a Local Government Official with National Qualification, with more than 10 years of experience.

He is a member of the AMPA board of directors, as well as of the School Council of the Alfonso X El Sabio School.

In June 2017 he was elected member of the PSRM delegation to the Federal Committee of the PSOE.
