Ruiz explained that "again we are joining efforts to bring information to Lorca and intensify information work on the prevention of this disease." In this sense, the information table will be installed from 10 am to 1 pm, distributing both information and red ribbons as a symbol of the commemoration of this day.
On Saturday, December 2, an information table will be installed on Corredera Street between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
In the same will be distributed information such as brochures, posters or bookmarks, 500 pocket calendars, a thousand red ribbons and condoms.
Educational activities will also be carried out.

It is lower than the national average during the whole period, although it is getting closer to the average incidence in Spain, and in 2016 the incidence in the region was 60.1 cases of new HIV diagnosis per million inhabitants, lower to the incidence in Spain (72.2 per million inhabitants), but similar to the average incidence in the 31 EU / EEA countries in 2015 (63 cases per million inhabitants). The cases of new diagnosis in this stage they correspond mainly to males (81.5%), with an average annual increase of 1.1% reaching 86.4% in 2016.
