The PSOE is concerned about the new rise in unemployment in Lorca and insists on the need for a change in the productive model in the Region (05/12/2017)

Socialists say the November data are "alarming" and confirm that precariousness and instability are still installed in the labor market.

The councilor of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Antonio Navarro has denounced the new rise in the number of unemployed in the municipality of Lorca.

November leaves 123 unemployed more, reaching the figure of 5,203 unemployed.

Navarro sees "worrying" the new increase in unemployment in the municipality of Lorca.

He assures that the rise has been "so alarming" that neither the trade and hospitality campaigns of the season have managed to "compensate" the loss of jobs that, he adds, has been generalized among the different sectors.

Socialists say that this new surge in unemployment confirms that instability and precariousness in employment "remain installed" in the labor market and demonstrate the "urgent need" that in Lorca and the Region of Murcia apply "policies of more effective employment "that insist, will come from a necessary change in the productive model.

Navarro lacks, therefore, a change in the productive model of this Region and, in turn, the lack of a "firm and demanding" voice in the Popular Party of Lorca able to claim a change in employment policies that translate, once and for all, into job opportunities for all Lorca.
