The Musical Group Mater Dolorosa, along with the Choir of the Blue Step and the group "Ánimas de Zarzadilla" will offer the next juevesa at 9:00 a Concert of solidary Christmas in benefit of Red Cross Youth.
The event, already consolidated in the social and cultural calendar of Lorca, will be held in the incomparable setting offered by the Church of San Francisco.
During the first part of the concert, the Musical Group will perform alone under the direction of José Miñarro Carrasco.
They will perform compositions such as "White Christmas" and "Adeste Fideles", premieres of the band for Christmas 2017. They will also sound "Abrázame Madre" and "Lacrimas".
This traditional composition will be the last one to be played before the intermission, at which time the "Ánimas de Zarzadilla" troupe will perform some of its best known pieces.
In the second part the Choir of the Blue Step will join the Mater Dolorosa Music Group to perform popular Christmas carols such as "El Tamborilero", "Jingle Bells", "Noche de Paz" or "Feliz Navidad", to end with the anthem of the Most Holy Virgin of Sorrows and Masks.
Attendees can bring their toys that will be collected by the Red Cross to be delivered to the most disadvantaged, making the event a full act of solidarity.
That is why El Paso Azul encourages all Lorca, regardless of the color they feel, to participate in this initiative so solidary with which you can help the needy and enjoy a great musical evening.
