The PSOE welcomes the dismissal of the manager of Limusa, resulting from the pressure of the workers and the opposition (21/12/2017)

The dismissal of the manager of Limusa comes after a long and constant work that the PSOE has faced bravely and without complexes, contesting personnel selection processes for being manifestly illegal;

demanding the PP a change of the internal rules of Limusa to give more participation and transparency to the public company, and asking that powers be removed to this "almighty" Management that the PP has maintained for more than 10 years

The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has shown his satisfaction after confirming the dismissal of the manager of Limusa.

Mateos assures that this achievement is the result of the constant struggle of the workers of the public company that, for more than a decade, have suffered the consequences of an "almighty" management protected by the Popular Party, which has looked for "personal and partisan" interests in place to watch over the rights of its workers and the good management of the public company.

Mateos congratulates himself for having maintained "with courage and without complexes" a "long work", that the PSOE has led by forcing the convocation of General Meetings, and taking to the Plenary initiatives to force a change in the internal rules of Limusa, remove competences to Management and put an end to more than a decade of lack of transparency in the public company.

The commitment of the PSOE, and Diego José Mateos, has been "firm and consistent" to bring about an urgent change in the internal rules of LIMUSA and celebrates that, the joint work with the other opposition parties, has served to force this change that it hopes, serves to guarantee that the management of the company is made from now on under the principles of transparency and participation, as well as the respect to the workers, both in the personal treatment and in their labor rights.

Mateos believes that Gil Jódar has had no choice but to "assume" the simple, legal and common-sense demands raised by workers and opposition groups in the face of a "shameful" situation that "clamored to heaven" and points that "there have not been detailed explanations of the reasons for the termination, which could also be due to the internal tensions of the Popular Group."

Ensures that it was "unsustainable and unbearable" that the most important decisions for the company, such as the hiring of personnel or the approval of millionaire investments, depended "only and exclusively on one person".

Hence, the constant complaints that the PSOE has made against the personnel selection systems, coming to challenge along with the other members of the opposition several recruitment processes for being "manifestly illegal".

Finally, Mateos regrets that the manager has not yet attended the formalization of his resignation today, at the meeting of the Board of Directors held this morning.

Ensures that "by decency, out of respect for the members of the Board of Directors, and responsibility," should have attended that meeting because, he says, is manager "until December 31."

In this sense, Mateos insists that "you have to be tough and mature" and "face" both when you win and when you lose the game.
