Marisol Sánchez asks the Mayor and the government team to work for Lorca to have a mobile application, which through a geolocation system, directly connect Lorca with the Local Police, thus reducing response times and increased security .

The deputy spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Marisol Sánchez Jódar has once again insisted on the need to improve and increase the means available to the Local Police of Lorca, for which he has reiterated his request about the need for " once and for all "the new transmission equipment arrives, so demanded by the agents themselves, and that they were approved at the municipal level.

For the socialist mayor, the security of a municipal area with geographical characteristics such as that of Lorca must be supported by the new technologies that are made available in the 21st century.

In this sense, Sánchez Jódar has demanded that the Mayor and his government team "modernize" with the implementation of a "simple" tool through a geolocation system that connects directly to Lorca with Local Police, just like to the start-up by the socialist government teams in the Águilas City Council and Fuente Álamo.

Sánchez Jódar explained that it is a free mobile application called "Safe Residence", developed by the company Tecnopol and that establishes a geolocation system through which Local Police can go to the exact place of the incident, since in many cases, The characteristics of our municipal area, with more than 1675 square km and more than 900 km of rural roads makes it difficult to locate the exact point of the notice with a phone call.

He also points out that the warning would arrive directly at the patrol cars without having to go through the Local Police central unit first, since this application involves the installation of "tablets" in the patrol cars themselves, thus reducing reaction times.

For the socialist mayor, the use of this tool would improve and give "officiality" to which currently and in particular are used by many residents of the districts of the orchard of Lorca, as is the case of Cazalla or Torrecilla, which already from the neighborhood associations themselves after the recent waves of robberies in their districts, they created whatsapp groups that include Local Police agents.

Sánchez Jódar ensures that with the implementation of this application, which provides for an official record prior to its use, would increase considerably the security in the districts, would be available to all residents at the touch of a button and available for all districts, fundamentally for those that have a wide disseminated territory of houses.
