Citizens: Ferrovial requests another 277,000 euros for the works of Juan Carlos I for "unforeseen events" (11/01/2018)

It seems that with the almost 5 million euros that it already charges, it does not have enough, despite the fact that it was awarded a half million euros more than a company in Lorca.

Ferrovial (Ferconsa and Ceres) was awarded the works of Juan Carlos I for an amount of 4,979,150 euros and the offer of Pavimentos Asfálticos Lario SL was rejected for 4,406,849.04 euros, 572,301 euros less.

From the Municipal Group can not understand that halfway through the work and are asking for 277,138.61 euros for "unforeseen".

Antonio Meca had not foreseen that "the Government Team would fold and accept the fudge that is being made because of the low quality of the materials, the poor execution of the finishes and the use of old items such as the covers of supplies and services" , confirmed this fact by the corresponding technical report.

The Councilman believes that the Government Team has to "require the company to fulfill its commitment in the agreed amount and that the unforeseen events must have been previously studied".

Meca demands, as always, the Government Team "to defend the interests of Lorca and not to side with these macro companies that practically subcontract all the works and the only thing they contribute is speculation".

Citizens think that the reasons why money is lacking is because of the number of companies that subcontract each other and there is no money for everyone and finally affects the planned investment.

Antonio Meca finally assumes that "this may all have legal reserve and paper holds everything but what is clear is that the economic management and execution of these works is very poor."
