From the Municipal Group of Citizens we strongly rejected and condemned the contents of the program "Saved" of the Sixth, issued on Sunday night by the unfair treatment he had on the pig sector of the Region of Murcia and therefore the region of Guadalentín.
The isolated case of a farm that does not comply with the regulations does not represent in any case a model sector at an international level whose professionals have earned the prestige and recognition for their good work, becoming the economic engine of our primary sector.
We regret the irresponsible attitude of the Director of Livestock D. Francisco Jódar for not defending such an important sector and that was so unfairly treated in this program.
It was the opportune moment for the Director to intervene in this national program and to value the thousands of pig farms that impeccably fulfill the Law and the professionalism of those responsible.
We can not understand that he was hiding behind a General Director who made the Region of Murcia look ridiculous, so we demand political responsibilities.
From Ciudadanos we want to show our support to the pig sector and to the professionals that represent it.
