The Parque Almenara Shopping Center in Lorca becomes the headquarters of the seventh edition of the Tierras Altas Rally organized by the Automobile Club of Lorca, on Friday 09 and Saturday 10 March 2018. It will house the test offices for the address of race, race stewards, timing and press room as well as the assistance tents of the teams that make up the event, which will be located in the outdoor parking of the shopping center.
The competition will be closed with the awards ceremony to be held on Saturday, March 10, on the first floor of the CC at 8:00 p.m.
This seventh edition of the ground rally par excellence will begin on the day of Friday, March 9, with the administrative and technical checks, to continue with the recognition of the stages and will give the kick off of the first tests.
On Saturday, March 10, the teams will start the day at 8:00 am with the departure of the Assistance Park located in Almenara Park to go out to play the specials that will take place in the high districts of Lorca.
As a final point to the test, the spectacle section will be played in the vicinity of the Parque Almenara Shopping Center.
This special test will start on Saturday 10 from 17: 30h and will be completely free.
Parque Almenara, managed by Trama Norte Gestión, opened its doors in 2008. It has an SBA of 67,050 m2 distributed over 2 floors, 2,400 free parking spaces and is the reference center in the Guadalentín Valley with the most relevant brands in the market in fashion (H & M, C & A, Zara, Lefties, Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Jack & Jones, Springfield, Cortefiel, etc.), sports (Sportzone, Blanes, Decimas) or household equipment (Mediamarkt, Casa).
It has a Carrefour hypermarket (open from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.) and a leisure and restaurant area open 365 days a year, with 10 movie theaters and a bowling alley.
