10 students of the "Young Lorca Employment" Project make the 12 tunics of the Apostles of the Last Supper of the Third Via Crucis Viviente del Paso Morado (20/03/2018)

The Local Development Councilor of the City of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, delivered this morning to Paso Morado, organizer of the Via Crucis Viviente, the tunics made by the 10 participants in the training action "Arrangements and adaptations of clothing and textile and leather goods ", framed within the" Youth Employment "Project launched by the Lorca Consistory.

Sandra Martinez said that "after the success of previous years, held again in our city, Holy Monday, the 3rd edition of the Living Cross that will represent the Passion for the traditional stations of Lorca until the Calvary. a new scene is added: the Last Supper, for this, the students of this employment program have made the garments of the 12 apostles for this new scene of the Via Crucis Viviente of Paso Morado 2018. Martínez stressed that "the Youth Employment Program Lorca, subsidized by the European Social Fund, within the framework of the Youth Employment Operational Program, aimed at the sustainable integration of young people in the labor market, in the context of the National Employment System Youth Guarantee, is the most ambitious and high investment in job training for young Lorca in the history of the municipality, reaching € 1,873,453.40 The ongoing program includes a total of 29 initial training activities that have a duration of between 4 and 8 months The first phase of the project began on December 4 with different training actions, and beneficiaries receive a monthly grant of € 200 for training assistance.
