Mateos defends the compatibility of the transfers and the desalination plants "despite who weighs it" (21/04/2018)

The Secretary General of the PSOE lorquino does not admit that water resources are being reduced from the already scarce ones that we have.

He assures that it is an error and that the federal address must rectify.

"If I do not do it, I will present my resignation from the Federal Committee."

Diego José Mateos, Secretary General of the PSOE defends the compatibility of the transfers and desalination, as elements to combat the need for water, "regardless of who you weigh."

To date the end of the transfers is to accept what the Popular Party has already done with the memorandum of the Tajo-Segura transfer, with which "shamefully" limited the flow in times of drought.

The PSOE of Lorca, with Mateos at the head, defends "ultranza" the Tajo-Segura transfer, and does not admit that water resources are being reduced from the already "scarce" resources that we have.

Mateos has assured that his position is "clear and firm".

In this sense, says that above all, "I defend Lorca, I defend the Lorca irrigators and I will not mind facing the current direction of my party, which until now has always defended the Tagus - Segura, its continuity, and driven the desalination plants, always criticized by the PP and that now have become the only solution to the current drought, especially after the approval of the transfer memorandum ".

The secretary general of the Lorca socialists, member of the Federal Committee, believes that the statements about the end of the transfers "are wrong and should be rectified."

"If I do not do it, I will present my resignation from the Federal Committee," sentence.
