The International Beach Volleyball Center of Lorca hosts from April 28 to 30 the Final of the National Beach Volleyball Winter Circuit
The objective of this competition is to expand the options of winning and getting points for the national ranking of Spanish beach volleyball couples
The Councilor for Sports of the City of Lorca, Juan Miguel Bayonas, the president of the Royal Spanish Volleyball Federation, Agustín Martín Santos, and the director of the International Beach Volleyball Center of Lorca, Juan Lario, presented this morning the Final Circuit Volleyball National Beach Winter that will be played from 28 to 30 April in the CIVP of Lorca.
The Sports Councilor recalled that "during these days we can enjoy in the CIVP of Lorca of the best players of beach volleyball in Spain and also of some foreigner, in this tournament that will end the first edition of the Winter Circuit of the modality of sand".
Bayonas explained that "the final will be played both in male category, with a total of 20 couples, and female, where there are 19. In boys there are four groups, with five couples each, and in girls there are also four groups, but to be an odd number in the first group there are only four couples. "
This CIVP Tournament joins the events that catalyze the attention of this sport in Spain.
The objective of this competition is to expand the options of winning and getting points for the national ranking of couples of Spanish beach volleyball.
As for the schedules, the championship will begin on Saturday, 28 in the morning, and end on Monday, May 30, at 2:00 pm, at which time the awards ceremony is scheduled.
The volleyball player Lorca, Inocencio Lario is with his teammate Hugo Rojas, the second pair of the circuit that has scored more points, a total of 9,967 points.
Only behind Daniel Moreno and Óscar Jiménez, who have accumulated 15,200 points.
For his part, the director of the CIVP of Lorca, Juan Lario recalled that "throughout the year there are winter tournaments and the final is played at the International Beach Volleyball Center of Lorca, this tournament is organized by the Royal Spanish Federation Volleyball (RFEVB) and is the tournament in which players get more points.
The president of the Royal Spanish Volleyball Federation, Agustín Martín Santos, recalled that "according to the calendar of dates and venues for beach volleyball this year, the CIVP of Lorca, in addition to this final of the Senior Winter Circuit, will be the stage of the National for autonomies in school age, from June 29 to July 1, and the Spanish Championship of children's clubs at male level, from August 7 to 9, and the female, from 11 to 13 of that same month ".
In mid-August, from the 15th to the 17th, the National sub-21 of male clubs will also be held in Lorca.
and from 18 to 20 the women's team, and then the turn of the Spanish Women's Under-19 Championship will take place from August 25 to 27.
