The director of the Museum of Imperial Forums in Rome will participate in a course at the University of Mar (14/07/2010)

To present some of the major projects of archaeological museums Spanish is the main objective of the course "Archaeology and archaeological heritage II. Archaeological Museums for the XXI Century", International University of the Sea, to be held in the Archaeological Museum of Lorca during days 19 to 22 July.

The course will study and debate, too, the experiences of new archaeological museums in the Region of Murcia and the prospects for the future of museum management in this region.

The course will examine the new international currents applied to museums related to archeology, while exploring Spanish projects archaeological museum of prehistory as the Museum of Altamira or Human Evolution in Burgos, as well as other focused on Roman times, as the Alicante Provincial Archaeological and Roman Art in Merida, also considering thematic museums such as the Cartagena Underwater Archaeology or general as the National Archaeological Museum in Madrid.

The inaugural conference will be borne by Lucrezia Ungaro, director of the Museum of Imperial Forums in Rome, one of the most prestigious museums of international order, which will be on "The Museum of Imperial Forums in Rome: new proposals for a museum regarding the imperial Roman Archaeology. "

The course, led by Professor of the University of Murcia José Miguel Noguera Celdrán lasts for twenty hours, and participants will receive two free credits.
