The PSOE regional government will require the full regulation of the Law Unit to create jobs in Lorca (19/07/2010)

In the town, over 90% of its beneficiaries are forced to opt for the economic benefit of family caregivers.

This means, unproductive expenditure that does not generate jobs or services, and increase the chances that these amounts serve to generate pockets of undeclared work through hiring people who develop domestic services in poor conditions and without a contract.

The deputy spokesman of the Municipal Group in the city of Lorca, Francisco Ruiz, today called on the regional government to regulate home care and telecare, including near, day care centers and residences, and services covered by the Law Unit.

Alviar Ruiz recalled that the regional government has not yet covered as a home help service dependency, more than three years after the entry into force of the Act, which would have generated about 400 to 500 jobs Lorca, especially in the female.

Meanwhile, the City Council who provide such a service, "within its limited possibilities," said the mayor.

Alviar For Ruiz, the fact that the Autonomous Community does not regulate the Law Unit, is caused in Lorca, over 90% of its beneficiaries are forced to opt for the economic benefit of family caregivers.

This means, unproductive expenditure that does not generate jobs or services, and increase the chances that these amounts serve to generate pockets of undeclared work through hiring people who develop domestic services in poor conditions and without a contract.

As an example, Ruiz Alviar explained that in Andalusia, last year the population employed in the sector of social services, mostly referred to the level of dependency, increased by 33%.

That's well-argued, because there is an autonomous government with political will to develop a law that not only contributes to the welfare of people with difficulties but also creates job opportunities.

Therefore, for the council, it is urgent that dependency services are regulated by the Regional Government and the Law works to 100% in the Region and in Lorca, as happens in other regions in which the full development and regulation and implementation of services the agency "is leading to the creation of stable and sustainable."

For the council of the PSOE, PP procrastination on this issue is causing "lost a golden opportunity to generate jobs in our municipality."
