The Director General of Tourism, Marina Garcia, presented today with the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, audiovisual equipment Museo Casa del Paso Morado, belonging to the Confraternity of the Holy Christ of Forgiveness.
The performance is included in the Product Plan to Promote Tourism of Lorca, with an investment of 40,000 euros from the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the city of Lorca.
This investment is the second of four to go the Product Plan to Promote Tourism Lorca Embroidery Museum of the city in which to invest a total of 240,000 euros to provide basic tools museums attractive and effective dissemination , communication and customer service, improving its cultural offerings.
Embroidery museums are part of the exhibition centers of Lorca Taller del Tiempo since 2003 and are a resource of high financial interest associated with the Semana Santa Lorca.
Improvements in the museum exhibition of the Museum of Paso Morado facilities have provided resources to expand the sample audiovisual heritage of the Brotherhood and to convey the meaning of the Purple Paso as part of Holy Week.
Step dramatizing highlights the Mystery of the Last Supper, a group of sculptures made in 1700 by Nicholas housed.
In addition, Penitent, the virtual pet of the Guild, will present the 3D audiovisual Step on the history of Purple and its role in the Easter Lorca.
To publicize the new audiovisual equipment Step Purple House Museum are scheduled Open Days from 22 to 25 July, from 10 to 14 and from 17 to 19:30.
